About Us

BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO DON'T SIT STILL.

Our Journey

Let'sHIKE grew out of CityROCK and Mountain Mail Order's roots in the climbing community - a world built on trust, shared knowledge, and a love for the great outdoors. Hiking felt like the natural extension of that spirit: a way to bring the same quality gear and honest advice to a wider outdoor community, on trails instead of rock faces. Let'sHIKE is that step - a venture aimed at providing quality gear built to handle real terrain, trail packs that take the guesswork out of prepping for South Africa's toughest and most rewarding routes, and a community of hikers, climbers, and trail-chasers who'd rather compare notes on a summit than in a spreadsheet.

Made for the Trail

From the first step to the last kilometre, we’re here to make getting outside easier. Good gear, useful advice, inspiring trails and a community that gets it.

Your Trail. Your Kit. Your Adventure: The Trail Kit Story

Every trail is different. So why should every hiking kit be the same?

We build our Trail Kits around the demands of the trail itself - considering the terrain, distance, weather and the gear you'll need along the way.

From your first kilometre to your final campsite, we've brought the essentials together in one convenient pack.

What We Believe

Go Further

We're always looking for the next trail, the next adventure and the next reason to get outside.

Keep It Practical

Outdoor gear shouldn't be confusing. We believe good advice should be simple, honest and useful.

Leave It Better

We love wild places. We want them to stay wild.

Everyone Starts Somewhere

You don't need to be an expert to belong outside.

Adventure Is Better Together

The best stories are the ones you get to share.
